I have been designing lingerie and lingerie adjacent accessories, and officially launched Bettie Fatal in 2014. After developing an obsessive addiction for lingerie as a way to explore my body image, I found a huge gap in terms of diversity in the market. Because of this, I worked hard to develop a brand with a focus on body positivity, equal representation, and self love. Each piece has been designed with sizes XS-XXXL in mind, to ensure any person may feel comfortable in my designs. Bettie Fatal will continue to work hard to uphold the ethics standards set up by bringing you beautiful designs with the consumer in mind. Inspiration is taken from vintage pieces, bondage and shibari, and unique fabrics. I hope to bring a spark to your drawer, a twinkle to your eye, and a fierceness you cannot contain.

In the words of McQueen, "I want people to be afraid of the women I dress"

Avery Barsony is the owner of Bettie Fatal. She designs and drafts every piece you see and has built this business from the ground up. She also photographs and directs all photoshoots. Avery graduated from Fashion Design at Ryerson University and is a self professed lingerie addict who strives to create a diverse, new brand that speaks to a volume of people the way that mainstream brands do not. She wants to bring a much needed change in the lingerie industry and represent Canada. Avery has been single-handedly running this brand since it's opening and puts her heart and soul into everything she creates.
